The Wren Association of Toronto (Wrens), an Association of Women who had allied Naval service during WWII, post war service and those still serving, announces that as of March 15, 2004 they have established a Scholarship Fund in remembrance of

One thousand dollars to be awarded annually over the next five years to each of the following organisations:

HMCS YORK, Toronto, Reserve Training, Canadian Forces, Navy, Scholarship:

For Excellence in Junior Ranks, 2004 to 2008

The NAVY LEAGUE OF CANADA, All Ontario, Scholarship:

Royal Canadian Sea Cadets, for Excellence in Service, 2004 to 2008

SUNNYBROOK AND WOMENS HOSPITAL, Toronto, Nursing Scholarship:

For RN Students or Staff, in Veterans or Long Term Care Disciplines, 2004 to 2008

GEORGE BROWN – TORONTO CITY COLLEGE, Toronto, Discipline Selected Scholarship:

Awarded March 31, 2004 for Apprentice Cooking Basic - Five Hundred Dollars

Awarded March 31, 2004 for Apprentice Baking - Five Hundred Dollars
