• Book Release
  We learn from the Chippewa Division of the Ex Wrens' Association, that four of the Winnipeg Wrens travelled to glastone Manitoba in October, for the launching of the book "Women of the War Years". At the luncheon. hosted by the Gladstone Legion Auxilliary, Peggy Galloway first welsomed all attendees and introduced the dignitaries who were present. Then donors and peole who submitted their stories were also recognized. The documented first copy was auctioned off and went to the MP from Portage Lisgar, Jake Hoeppner, for a bid of $700.00.
